Position/Title: National Accounts Client Executive
Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for all facets of the client relationship, including client contract negotiations (renewals and the development of new master services agreements), vendor contract negotiations, account expansion activities, and service satisfaction surveys. Also directly accountable for profit and loss, financial planning and reporting, operational service level agreement results, and accounts IT support.
Client contract negotiations include the extension and/or expansion of the current master services agreement as well as additional project work. Responsible for determining the project scope, estimated number of billable hours, determining the hourly rate to be charged, and clearly communicating to the client, the change tracking/change order process.
Vendor contract negotiations includes negotiations the terms of the contract, including whether there will be per claim, time and materials, or a per member per month charge. Work with internal law department to ensure contract language supports the intent of the contract. Obtain final approval from senior management. Contracts negotiated with vendors include EDI (electronic claim submission fees), claim intake fees (mail operations/scanning, keying and error correction), as well as acting in an advisory capacity for rental network, utilization management/utilization review, and manual repricing vendor contracts.
